The Ireland Women’s National Team will host Cymru (Wales) in Tallaght Stadium in their first home game of 2024.
The International Friendly will take place on Tuesday, February 27th with kick-off set for 19:30. The game will be broadcast live on RTÉ2.
The 17th meeting between the teams – and the first since a 1-0 win at the Pinatar Cup in February 2022 – will be the second game in the international window with an away fixture to be announced soon.
The two sides are heading in opposite directions with Wales relegated from League A in the inaugural staging of that tournament and Ireland promoted from League B.
It could be an entertaining game with 41 goals in the sides’ six respective games in the Nations League.
Head Coach Eileen Gleeson will use the two games as preparation for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2025 Qualifiers, which kick off in April following the Draw on March 5.
Tickets will for the Cymru game will be on general sale from 10:00 am on Friday, February 2nd via Ticketmaster.ie.
