A record crowd of 34,591 people descended on Leopardstown last year for the Dublin Racing Festival and with a Bank Holiday off the back of a Guinness Six Nations match tonight, hopes are high for another record this weekend.
All Hospitality and Premium tickets are long sold out for the two days of action.
The Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup and the Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle are the two main events but every one of the supporting card is a top prize in its own right and a likely pointer towards Cheltenham glory next month.
Throughout its history, the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup has served as a leading trial for the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Four horses have won both events in the same year – Jodami (1993), Imperial Call (1996), Sizing John (2017) and Galopin Des Champs (2023).
There are music and food offerings throughout the Festival which goes from strength to strength.
Sport for Business will be there on Sunday as a guest of Ladbrokes, sponsors of the €150,000 Ladbrokes Dublin Steeplechase.
Pogueology will provide the music after racing for what promises to be a long day, but a great one.
There will be free Shuttle Buses running from Naas, Red Cow Luas, Sandyford Luas Stop, Blackrock Dart and Heuston Station.
Both days will also be televised live on RTÉ Television.
