Breaking news this morning that Off The Ball has signed an exclusive national radio deal with the League of Ireland.

The deal  will see the radio and online broadcaster air 30 live SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division matches across the upcoming season.

A minimum of 15 fixtures will be broadcast on Newstalk featuring live commentary throughout as well as post-match analysis.

Nathan Murphy and Stephen Doyle will share commentator duties across the season.

As well as the live broadcasts, Off The Ball’s current League of Ireland coverage will also feature a weekly League of Ireland podcast, LOI Late Night on X Spaces along with pre and post-match analysis on Off The Ball’s morning and evening shows.

The league starts this Friday, February 14th with Shelbourne taking on Derry City where Off The Ball will be live from Tolka Park with all the action.

“Everyone in Off The Ball is incredibly excited to bring football fans across the country live commentary of the League of Ireland every Friday night,” said Off The Ball Managing Director Ger Gilroy.

“There has been a massive surge in interest in the League and we’re delighted to be onboard for the coming season. We look forward to providing an unprecedented level of coverage, with live match commentary, pre- and post-match analysis, podcasts and the ever-popular LOI Late Night.”
