Ulster Rugby has kicked off the new season with a significant commercial boost, announcing a two-year partnership with leading property advisor Savills as an Official On-Kit Partner.
The agreement will see the Savills logo featured on the back of the shorts worn by Ulster’s senior men’s team across all three professional kits — home, away, and alternative — when they take to the field in the United Rugby Championship and European competitions.
The partnership comes at a time of expansion and consolidation for Savills across the island of Ireland.
The company employs more than 450 staff across its offices in Belfast, Cork, and Dublin.
Both organisations highlighted their belief in rugby’s ability to unite people, from grassroots players to the professional stage, and their ambition to grow the game in the years ahead.
Ulster Rugby Chief Executive Officer Hugh McCaughey said the deal underlines a long-standing relationship between the club and Savills.
“We are delighted to be announcing this exciting new partnership with Savills as we begin the new season. Savills is an industry-leading company who are committed to growth, and they have been a long-term supporter of the club, having been season ticket holders for years,” he said.
“Their passion and excitement for the game is something that we really value, and we are excited to work with each other going forward.”
Savills has made no secret of its enthusiasm for becoming more deeply involved with the province. The firm’s Head of Northern Ireland, Ben Turtle, said the partnership is about more than branding.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Ulster Rugby as Official On Kit Partner,” added Ben Turlte, Head of Northern Ireland for the firm.
“Rugby is built on teamwork, dedication, and community spirit – values that mirror how we operate at Savills. With our roots firmly in Northern Ireland and a growing presence across the island, we’re excited to support Ulster Rugby from grassroots to the professional game and to celebrate the passion that unites players and supporters alike.”
The announcement comes during a period of renewed energy for Ulster Rugby, both on and off the pitch. The club has unveiled SAM as the primary shirt sponsor and Affidea as the naming rights partner for the stadium in Belfast.
