Nominations are now open for the 2026 Sport for Business PwC 30 Under 30.

This is the tenth full year in which we have recognised young talent coming through in and around the business of sport. We have now recognised and celebrated 270 talented young individuals many of whom have since gone on to rise through the ranks and some are now CEOs working within the sector.

Last year’s nominees came from Aer Lingus, Athletics Ireland, Boxing Ireland, Clubspot, Cricket Ireland, Croke Park, Cycling Ireland, Electric Ireland, FAI, Fairyhouse, Fingal Local Authority, GAA, Ireland Active, IRFU, Leinster Rugby, Ogier, Paralympics Ireland, PTSB, Raiola, Ripple, Rowing Ireland, Shamrock Rovers, Sport Ireland, Squash Ireland, Titan Experience, Verve, Vision Sport Ireland, Wilson Hartnell PR, and from the freelance sector.

Each was nominated by colleagues, peers or friends and have continued to shine across the past year.

Others from previous years have spread their wings to Europe, Australia and the United States but maintained a strong bond through the connection forged through this listing.

A number have created their own businesses and are changing the face of how sport is viewed, improved and managed.

It is a valuable network and one that we are confident will be enriched by those who are nominated and selected for 2026.

Nominations

So, who do you work with that has shone over the past twelve months or more and is deserving of recognition as they rise through their career?

It could be someone you work alongside, or in another area that you have admired or been impressed by.

Now is your chance to do something special for them.

Criteria

The criteria for submission is that the person should be working within the sports industry, or in a sponsorship or agency capacity that is bringing sport to life, and that they should be born in or after 1996.

You are invited to submit names and a short summary of why an individual deserves to be recognised below.

Our ambition from the start has been to create a network of people making a real difference within our industry.

Who should we be looking to for the next wave of excellence?

Over the coming weeks we will feature a run of interviews with those who have gone before, and we will highlight some of those that have taken on a new role in the past year or two.

On March 22nd we will start to name the 2026 intake.

Then in May we will gather once more in the offices of PwC to meet in person, share experience and forge connections that will be of real value.

And we will also be looking at additional ways in which we can help those nominated to enhance their career and build strong friendships across the sector, particularly in this the tenth year of the list.
