EY has been named as Presenting Partner of the next three Junior Ryder Cup matches, in a partnership announced in Dublin yesterday by Ryder Cup Europe and the PGA of America.
The agreement will cover the 2027, 2029 and 2031 editions of the biennial event, beginning in Ireland when the Junior Ryder Cup is staged in Limerick alongside the Ryder Cup’s centenary celebrations.
The Junior Ryder Cup brings together the leading male and female junior amateur golfers from Europe and the United States, all aged 18 and under, in a mixed team competition held during Ryder Cup week.
First staged in 1997, the event has become an important proving ground for future stars of the game. Six players who competed in the 2025 Ryder Cup had previously played in the junior event, as had seven competitors in the 2024 Solheim Cup.
The first two days of foursomes and fourballs will be played at Ballyneety Golf Club in County Limerick, before the decisive singles matches move to Adare Manor on the day before the venue hosts the Ryder Cup itself.
Ballyneety, which was co-designed by 2014 Ryder Cup Vice-Captain Des Smyth, will also host the 2027 G4D Ryder Cup match, further strengthening its role in a landmark week for golf in Ireland.
Set across 183 acres of rolling countryside, the Limerick venue will provide a strong local platform for the next generation of golfers, while Adare Manor will give the junior players the experience of competing at one of the highest-profile venues in world golf.
Richard Atkinson, Chief Ryder Cup Officer at the European Tour group, said the Junior Ryder Cup provided “an exciting precursor to golf’s greatest team contest,” with the next generation of golfing superstars showcasing their talent.
“With a company of EY’s scale coming onboard as Presenting Partner, we can further elevate the event in what promises to be a historic 2027 as we celebrate the Ryder Cup’s 100th anniversary,” he said.
Terry Clark, Chief Executive Officer at the PGA of America, said the Junior Ryder Cup remained “a premier platform for golf’s rising stars to compete on an international stage.”
“EY’s presence will help us deliver exceptional experiences for both teams over the next three editions, including the Ryder Cup’s highly anticipated return to Minnesota in 2029 and Hazeltine National Golf Club,” he added.
This partnership adds to EY’s existing sporting relationships in Ireland which have been focused in the longer term on the EY Leagues in Hockey.
Frank O’Keeffe, EY Ireland Managing Partner, said the company was proud to sponsor the Junior Ryder Cup at Ballyneety Golf Course and Adare Manor.
“At EY, we are committed to creating pathways for young talent to succeed and to broadening access to high-performance sport,” he said.
“This is more than a sponsorship, it’s an investment in the next generation. We believe in providing young athletes with the opportunity to build resilience, to grow through teamwork and to lead with confidence.”
The announcement strengthens the commercial programme around the Ryder Cup ecosystem ahead of the event’s return to Ireland in 2027.
It also reinforces the positioning of the Junior Ryder Cup as more than a curtain-raiser, but as a meaningful development platform in its own right, combining elite competition, international experience and a pathway into the professional game.
Ballyneety’s role alongside Adare Manor is another important piece in the broader legacy picture around the 2027 Ryder Cup, extending the impact beyond the main match and into the development of young golfers and inclusive versions of the sport.
