Eimhear Breen has been appointed to the role of Brand and Sponsorship manager with BoyleSports, Ireland’s largest retail bookmaker.

The sponsorship portfolio is extensive. The €500,000 Boylesports Irish Grand National is one of the biggest partnerships in Irish racing and will run under the company banner for the next four years from 2021 to 2024.

The company also sponsored the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby again in 2020, investing significant six-figure funding in the race for the seventh successive year.

Further afield it is the principal partner of the PDC World Grand Prix in Darts and the Grand Slam of Darts which were both held this year behind closed doors.

At the start of this soccer season, it added Coventry City and Larne FC to its partnerships in the sport, alongside Birmingham City.

Breen started her career in PR with Edelman in 2016, before going on to join Legacy Communications Sports Sponsorship Team in 2019.

During her time there, she worked across clients including Littlewoods Ireland on their GAA sponsorship, Indeed on their sponsorship of Team Ireland, Aviva and Corporate.ie on the Aer Lingus College Football Classic.

While there she was part of the team that won the PRCA 2020 for Best Use Of Digital PR Including Content Creation for Littlewoods Ireland Style of Play.

“It is with great excitement that we welcome Eimhear Breen to the BoyleSports family,” said CEO Conor Gray.

“We are in no doubt that we have bolstered our vibrant team with someone who thrives in the sports-sponsorship arena.”

“As an individual, she brings characteristics which we believe align perfectly with our brand, including the passion, drive, and ambition that is key to our continued success.”

We wish her the very best of luck in her new role.
