The Cappagh Hospital Foundation Annual Sports Lunch will take place in the Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge this Friday and it promises to be quite the day.
The Foundation raises funds to supplement public funding, enabling the purchase of vital equipment, renovations and service expansion. It assist in the delivery of life-changing treatment for chronic conditions, many caused on the sporting fields of Ireland.
The panel of guest speakers includes Joe Brolly, Dave Kilcoyne, Shay Given and Cora Staunton, all guided under the watchful eye, well maybe not Joe Brolly, of Darragh Maloney.
Annmarie Sweeney, once of Special olympics Ireland is one of the driving forces behind the day and while it may be late to sponsor for this year, it might be one to put on the radar for 2025.
The Sport for Business Membership comprises nearly 300 organisations including all the leading sports and sponsors, commercial and state agencies.
