Squash Ireland has announced a new partnership with Cassidy Travel, naming the company as its Official Travel Partner in a move designed to support the sport’s growing elite ambitions and expanding international footprint.

Under the agreement, Cassidy Travel will manage flights and travel logistics for Irish teams competing at major international events, including the World Team Championships in South Korea, the Junior World Championships in Canada, and a range of European Championships for senior and junior players over the coming year.

The partnership will also extend to supporter engagement, with Cassidy Travel set to develop bespoke travel packages for Irish squash fans to attend some of the sport’s most prestigious global tournaments.

The announcement comes at a time of strong momentum for squash in Ireland. Membership has increased by more than 30 per cent over the past two years, while 12 new clubs have affiliated with the all-island National Governing Body over the same period. Squash Ireland has also been shortlisted for National Governing Body of the Year in each of the past two years.

The sport’s inclusion in both the 2027 European Games and the 2028 Summer Olympics has added further impetus, with Ireland’s leading male and female players now approaching career-high PSA World Rankings as they target qualification for both competitions.

“We are very ambitious for the organisation, and our top elite players are striving to compete at the highest level,” said Squash Ireland CEO Scott Graham.

“The sponsorship and support of Cassidy Travel will be an enormous help in this journey.”

“We have been working with Cassidy Travel for some time and can vouch for the excellent levels of customer service and their unrivalled experience, particularly in the area of sports travel.”

“We look forward to continuing that partnership in 2026 and beyond.”

“As Ireland’s leading sports travel provider, Cassidy Travel is delighted to partner with Squash Ireland as their Official Travel Provider,” added Sharon Harney, General Manager of the Cassidy Travel Group.

“Together, we will provide seamless end-to-end travel solutions for both athletes and fans alike.”

“We manage the logistics for the qualifying Irish teams, so the players only need to focus on the scoreboard.”

“Our extensive portfolio of exciting worldwide destinations, venues, and sporting experiences allows us to bring fans directly into the excitement of the crowd and the intensity of live sport.”
