Gymnastics Ireland was able to welcome over 1,200 people back to the Sport Ireland Indoor Arena over the weekend for the first time in two years.

Today’s Daily Video captures the excitement of the young, some of whom had not even started school when the shutters came down and from whom it took one-third of their lives to date away.

It is a classic of why sport matters so much, especially for the young, and coming only 24 hours after Rhys McLengahan secured another World Cup medal at the elite end of the sport it shows how the pipeline of talent is being nurtured and developed.
