Irish rugby legend, Devin Toner, former Irish International football player, Stephen Hunt and golf professional Stephanie Meadow took part in a super sports-skills challenge on Saturday at Dundrum Town Centre.

To celebrate the arrival of the Sports Extra Pass on NOW TV the trio competed against each other in a golf, football and rugby shoot-out challenge.

The Sports Extra Pass is the latest shot in the battle for winning subscribers to Pay TV and was timed well the day before the biggest Premier League game of the season between Liverpool and Manchester City.

Now TV allows access to Sky packages on a daily, weekend or month-long basis without the need to have a contract in place.

The Sports Extra Pass has six sports channels; BT Sport 1, 2, 3, ESPN and Premier Sports 1 & 2. It is offered on a separate basis to the Sky Sports Pass which has all the Premier League, Golf Majors, GAA Championship, Darts, NFL and ATP Tennis.

The Now TV technology works on a host of streaming devices from Smart TV’s to mobile, Chromecast to web players on laptops.

BT Sport will be the only place to watch live coverage of next weekend’s opening fixtures in the Heineken Champions Cup for Leinster, Munster and Connacht. Ulster rugby’s Opening fixture away to Batch will be shown on Virgin Media One and Channel 4.
