Intersport Elverys have extended their partnership as the main sponsors of Mayo GAA for another five years running now through to 2025.

Mayo GAA has also announced that Smyths Toys are extending as Academy sponsor and that O’Neill’s have been appointed as the kit supplier for a further three years.

“Intersport Elverys have been sponsoring Mayo teams for over 20 years and I am delighted they will be with us for the next five as well,” said Myo GAA Chair, Liam Moffatt.

“They are a prime example of how a local company can have a national and an international presence.  They have given employment to many Mayo people across the country through their shop and online presence.”

“We are delighted to continue to partner with Mayo GAA for a further five years,” added Intersport Elverys CEO Patrick Rowland.

“The Intersport Elverys brand is widely renowned and represent the highest standards and quality in sports goods retailing. Mayo GAA is also a very strong brand and combines both the proud traditions and modern popularity of Gaelic Games.”

“We began sponsoring Mayo in 1998 and now in 2020 we are continuing an unbroken sequence of 22 years as their title sponsor.”

“Across our store network we can see the popularity of Mayo GAA continue to grow and we are delighted to be able to work with them over the next five years.”

Pádraig Ó Céidigh was appointed as the new Chair of the County Board Audit and Risk Committee and he is joined on the board by Morgan Deane, CEIO of Swiss Investment Bank Helvea as well as by Bill Carty, the former Head of Finance at Abbot Ireland.
