Starting on Monday, May 31st we will six weeks of content looking at the lessons we can all learn from the Euro 2020 tournament taking place across the continent.

We may not have our teams there with both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland falling at the play-off hurdle, and we may also have lost the right to host four games at the Aviva Stadium through the Covid restrictions still in place on travel and gatherings, but we will enjoy the sport as we always do.

We will look at each of the 24 teams taking part, at the commercial arrangements they have in place back at their home country, and at how they manage the communications around their participation.

We will look in detail at the activations of the 12 key partners that UEFA has gathered for the tournament from around the world.

We will monitor activity around the tournament across each of our weekly columns looking at media, esports, venues and we will focus on Euro 2020 theme as the default for our Daily Video.

The major football tournaments are among the biggest global events there are. They help to define the way in which sport is played, supported, consumed and delivered. By diving deep into how others are doing things we hope to present a clear set of learnings that will help all of us to do as good a job as possible in the coming years.

We look forward to having you join us to find out what those learnings will be.
