The Bord Gáis Energy GAA Legends Tours are returning to Croke Park for 2025.
The acclaimed tour series has been a cornerstone partnership between Bord Gáis Energy and the GAA for more than a decade. It provides an opportunity for GAA enthusiasts to walk the hallowed corridors of Croke Park alongside their sporting heroes.
Participants are treated to captivating behind-the-scenes stories, from pre-match rituals to the drama of half-time speeches that turned games around.
Every Legends Tour includes comprehensive access to the GAA Museum’s collections, showcasing the evolution of Gaelic games throughout Irish history.
Visitors can marvel at the original Sam Maguire and Liam MacCarthy Cups, explore the prestigious GAA Hall of Fame, and challenge themselves in the Interactive Games Zone’s skills tests.
“The launch of the Bord Gáis Energy Legends Tour series here at the GAA Museum always marks the start of a packed tourist season for us,” said Museum Director, Niamh McCoy.
“We look forward to this day every year and are delighted to continue our partnership with Bord Gáis Energy to make these unique tours possible.”
“Anyone attending this year is in for a treat, with a brilliant line-up of some of our greatest ever players.”
“We can’t wait to start the series and hear more player stories in the surrounds of our iconic stadium.”
‘This year, we also have referee Pat McEnaney taking part and his tour is guaranteed to bring a new perspective to the series, shining a light on the important role of the referee on All-Ireland final day.”
“We’re really looking forward to continuing our long-standing sponsorship of the GAA Legends Tours for 2025,” added Meadbh Quinn, Director of Marketing at Bord Gais Energy.
“These tours embody what our partnership with the GAA is all about – creating meaningful connections between fans and the sporting heritage that means so much to communities across Ireland.”
“The passion and stories these legends share during the tours capture the essence of Gaelic Games, and we’re delighted to help make these special experiences possible for fans of all ages.”
