The 2025 National Series National Championships took place at the weekend in the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena.
The FIG level All-Around and Apparatus National Championships competitive event saw 1300 gymnasts from all around the country in the disciplines of Acrobatics, Men’s Artistic, Women’s Artistic, Rhythmic, Trampoline & Tumbling with 3,146 spectators supporting across the two days.
The organisation of the event was excellent and worth remembering that Gymnastics business case to be the ‘anchor’ tenant at the national Indoor Arena was important in building the case for its development in the first place.
The national base is there and events like these with paid entry are a strong revenue stream for the sport.
They also provide the raw material for content like that below which light up the sport for youngsters and parents considering a sport for their early years.
