The Ireland team to play England in the Bank of Ireland Nations Series on Saturday will be named at 2 PM tomorrow (Thursday) by Head Coach Andy Farrell.
The squad have stepped up their preparations for for the game at the Aviva Stadium with Josh Van Der Flier and Finlay Bealham on media duty today at the High Performance Centre at the Sport Ireland Campus.
We travelled out there today and will have a story and our Thursday podcast about some of the new technology which the team is utilising as it looks for that vital edge ahead of the World Cup.
A limited number of tickets for the game are still available, at a price of €120 and it is expected the game will be a sell out for the last game on Irish soil before the team heads to Tours in France ahead of the World Cup.
After opening the Bank of Ireland Nations Series with a home win over Italy, the Ireland squad completed a warm-weather training camp in Portugal last week, fine-tuning their preparations at The Campus in Quinta do Lago.
Ireland’s first World Cup game is against Romania at 2:30 Irish time on Saturday 9th.
We then play Tonga at 8 PM on Saturday 16th, South Africa at 8 PM on Saturday 23rd and Scotland at 8 PM on Saturday October 7th.
