Fonacab has signed an extension to its partnership as the official taxi partner of Northern Ireland’s men’s and women’s football teams.
The Irish Football Association first signed a sponsorship deal with the Belfast-based taxi company back in 2017.
Apart from supporting the Northern Ireland senior men’s team, fonaCAB also became the Irish FA’s official taxi partner and the main sponsor of the association’s Junior Cup, the biggest competition for Junior clubs in Northern Ireland.
Now it has extended the partnership to backing the Senior Women’s team that will compete in this summer’s Euro Championship Finals in England.
The new deal is for another four year period.
“As the largest taxi company in Ireland we believe it’s our responsibility to give back to our customers and our communities, and we are honoured to sponsor many teams and individuals across a wide variety of sports,” said William McCausland, owner and managing director of fonaCAB.
