
The shortlist for the BT Sport Industry Awards though is lighter on Irish influence than in previous years.
There are two specific Irish campaigns shortlisted and we are pleased to report that both are from members of the Sport for Business Community.
Teamer has been shortlisted yet again in the Digital Platform of the Year category. It has to compete this year with the official Wimbledon and Everton Football club apps, lewishamilton.com, and Pitchero.
The second Irish campaign is from Paddy Power whose ‘Right Behind Gay Footballers’ Campaign is one of six listed as possible winners of the Integrated Marketing Campaign of the Year.
The British and Irish Lions tour supplies two of its competitor campaigns from Microsoft and HSBC while others in the running include Adidas for its work with Chelsea Football Club, Barclays Bank for a thank you campaign around fans and the Premier League and Surrey Cricket Club.
The winners will be announced on Thursday 8th May.
