The latest Women in Sport Leadership programme has concluded, bringing another cohort of strong and willing female leaders through developing essential skills in areas such as conflict management, self-awareness, effective communication, and decision-making.

This initiative was first run during the pandemic and has grown into a highly sought-after area of upskilling.

Backed by Sport Ireland and designed and delivered by Sarah O’Shea of SOS Sports Consult, in partnership with Lisa Clancy of Clansult, the programme runs over six weeks. It is primarily online, but the group then comes together in person to present their leadership journeys and what they now hope to do.

It is a dynamic and interactive learning experience that equips participants with the training, guidance, and expertise needed to excel in leadership roles within the sporting landscape.

The course comprises a series of comprehensive modules, featuring practical exercises, individual reflection, and collaborative group work.
