KPMG has released the third video of its Performance Series with Irish professional golfer Leona Maguire. The timing is perfect with Maguire this weekend becoming the first ever Irish woman to compete for Europe at the Solheim Cup.

In today’s Sport for Business Daily Video video, Maguire discusses the importance of setting up a routine, the benefits it can bring and how she maintains focus on her routine, wherever she is in the world.

She details her daily routine when not in competition and the different workouts and training she undertakes to ensure she is constantly improving.

She also outlines how she incorporates winding down into the routine, be it a swim or watching live sport.

Throughout the series, Maguire will continue to share what she has learnt from high-performance sport and how it might translate to business and everyday life.

Maguire recently finished 23rd at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, as well as tied 13th at the Women’s British Open at the Carnoustie Golf Links, Scotland.

“Routines are truly the backbone of my golf game and I implement them every day during practice and tournament play,” she says in the video.

“They are intertwined in every facet of my game, from long game to putting and help me to ensure that I maintain technically and physically consistent throughout the LPGA season.”

“A powerful and influential network of information and collaboration”
