
Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones, had alerted fans to the fact they were coming via an Instagram post that they shared dressed top to toe in Adidas gear and on a private jet heading for Dublin from Manchester.
50 competition winners got a personal meet and greet with the players, while hundreds of fans took to the street outside the Mary Street store to catch a glimpse of the pair who will be in action in the Europa League clash against Zorya Luhansk on Thursday.
This was the formal launch of the Mary Street Store which factors in a range of retail store advances and leading edge design.

They were also in town to promote the launch of adidas’ latest boots from the Red Limit Pack, which, for those in the know contains a Primeknit upper and boost plate and completely new engineered control zones.
“Manchester United have fans all over the world and it is great to get the chance to come to Ireland to where we know we have huge support,” said Jones.
“I know many fans travel from Ireland to Old Trafford for every home game and that a lot travel to away games too. It was great to meet some of them today.”
