
Hamilton will be known to many in Ireland as the former Commercial Director of the FAI and has also worked in senior commercial positions with the NBA and in the advertising sector in London and Hong Kong and Australia.
He returned to London at the start of 2015 but the new role will mean more activity back in Ireland around the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in particular, now that it is part of the new elevated ‘Rolex Series’ of key tour events.
