When Red Bull get involved in an event it tends to be different. Diving out of rockets, simultaneous races around the world and high diving off cliffs on Achill Island are some that spring to mind but Gaelic Football is not being left behind either.
The third edition of the Red Bull Cúl 5 tournament was launched in Dublin yesterday. It’s a fast paced five a side version of Gaelic Football which will take place next month.
This year’s event will expand to take in leagues in Cork and Galway as well as in Dublin.
Bernard Brogan has been a key player in creating the event and bringing it to life. We are a big fan of adapted games and tapping into different elements of excitement and engagement and this has looked a winner since the first year in 2013 when a special arena was built to host games in Dublin Port.
