In the inevitable way of swings and roundabouts this will be the second weekend in a row of two Hurling Championship matches on RTÉ and the Football Championship appearing on GAAGo.
Both of the games have real jeopardy, as was the case with the Football Championship Provincial Finals which caused some to lose their minds and call for Government intervention at the start of the month.
That is of course the way of sport as was the fact that after two crackers of games on GAAGo, the Cork and Tipperary Hurlers served up a one sided affair on Sunday.
Donal Óg Cusack and Jackie Tyrell will be with Joanne Cantwell for the Sunday double header on RTÉ2 with Dublin and Galway up first in Pearse Stadium followed by Waterford and Limerick in the TRUS Gaelic Grounds.
This time two years ago we would also have had two games on RTÉ and probably one, possibly two on Sky Sports.
This year we have Dublin against Roscommon and Donegal against Tyrone in football and Kilkenny against Wexford in hurling, visible to anyone willing to pay €12, or go to a club that is showing the game or the many nursing homes around the country to which the GAA gave away free passes at the beginning of last year and this season.
Well, people will have to find something to fill the time they would otherwise have spent in performative rage giving out about the betrayal of sport…
