
- An estimated 40,000 people lined the streets to support the runners
- Runners travelled to Limerick for the event from over 20 different nations, from the US to Holland, Denmark and Canada.
- An estimated 50,000 bottles of water were consumed along the route.
- 2,000 children took part ion their own ‘junior’ version of the event.
- 4.5 kilometres of barriers were erected around the city centre.

A total of 35,000 runners took part in the race with the ultimate winner being Lemawork Ketema of Ethiopia, running in Austria who completes 78.57 kilometres before being the last man caught up to by the catcher car that had been synced across all the global locations.
