Aspiring young footballers across Ireland have a unique opportunity this summer as Chadwicks, Ireland’s leading builders’ merchants and proud sponsor of Shelbourne FC, launches a nationwide competition offering underage club teams the chance to train with the League of Ireland champions.

The exclusive prize — a full training session with Shelbourne FC players and coaches — is open to all underage club teams with players aged 16 and under.

The initiative runs until midnight on Monday, June 30th, and aims to give grassroots teams a taste of elite-level football.

“This is a money-can’t-buy experience,” said Tara Brennan, Marketing Director at Chadwicks Group.

“We’re proud to offer aspiring young footballers the opportunity to learn from some of the best players and coaches in the country. The men’s and women’s teams at Shelbourne have achieved incredible success, and this is a chance for the next generation to be inspired by them.”

The winning team will receive a full training session with Shelbourne FC coaches and players; Shelbourne FC jerseys for all team members, professional team photos and signed merchandise, transport to and from the training session if required, and a day to remember for players, coaches, and parents.

Entering is simple. Visit www.chadwicks.ie/shelbourne and complete the short entry form. Chadwicks customers can also scan an in-store QR code to access the competition page.

The winning team will be drawn at random and notified by Friday, July 11th.

With Shelbourne FC’s men currently reigning as the SSE Airtricity Premier Division Champions and the women’s team holding the Sports Direct Women’s FAI Cup, the opportunity to train alongside these athletes is set to be a highlight of the summer for one lucky team.
