The field for the 2025 Amgen Irish Open at The K Club continues to grow in strength and stature, with some of the game’s biggest names now confirmed to tee it up from September 4th to 7th.
Brooks Koepka, Tyrrell Hatton and Sergio Garcia – all now part of the LIV Tour – will compete in Straffan alongside Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Pádraig Harrington and Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald.
They will be joined by two more Major Champions in Francesco Molinari and Danny Willett, as well as PGA TOUR stars Jhonattan Vegas and Ryan Gerard, ensuring one of the strongest fields ever assembled for the event.
Italy’s Molinari, winner of the 2018 Open Championship, will make his first appearance at the event in a decade and is relishing the return:
“I am very excited to play in the Amgen Irish Open at The K Club this year. It is a huge tournament and one that everybody always enjoys. The Irish fans are so passionate and it gives us a boost inside the ropes when you hear the atmosphere.”
Willett, who claimed the Green Jacket at Augusta in 2016, has a fine record at the Irish Open and is targeting another strong showing:
“The big events just keep coming at this time of the year and they don’t get much bigger than the Amgen Irish Open. The turnout from the Irish fans is always incredible and I know this year will be no different.”
Vegas, a four-time PGA TOUR winner and Venezuelan Olympian, will make his Irish Open debut, while American Gerard – a first-time Tour winner at the Barracuda Championship this summer – will make his maiden trip to Ireland.
