The final Ulster Rugby Business Club event of the 2024/25 season takes place tomorrow, Friday 13 June, at Kingspan Stadium, with a focus on the theme: “The Power of Communication.”
Bringing together over 130 members and guests, the event, supported by A&L Goodbody, will close out the season in style with networking opportunities, expert insights, and what promises to be an enjoyable panel discussion hosted by Nicola McCarthy of the BBC.
The panel will include:
Aoife Clarke, Director of Communications at the IRFU having been a key player in Lidl’s sponsorship of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association.
Rob Hartnett, Founder of Sport for Business and prominent voice in sport-business relations and policy.
Bryn Cunningham, General Manager at Ulster Rugby and former Ulster player, offering insights from both pitch and boardroom perspectives.
Topics will include:
Emerging trends in strategic communication, including the rise of AI
The evolution of women’s sport and the role of communication in inclusivity
Navigating high-stakes environments in sport and business
Personal stories of communication shaping leadership and performance
A Q&A session will follow at 2:15 pm, with audience interaction encouraged.
