Volkswagen Ireland has extended its already strong relationship with sport in Ireland through renewing a three year deal to be the official car partner to the Leinster Rugby team.
The partnership began in September 2009 and will see the stars of Leinster driving Volkswagen cars now until at least 2015.
“Volkswagen has been committed over the last 3 years to developing our association with Leinster Rugby,” said Maeve McCarey, Marketing Manager of Volkswagen Ireland. “The relationship has worked well across our full dealer network and we are delighted to continue what has proven to be a successful partnership.
Volkswagen has strong relationships in soccer through Sligo Rovers and Shamrock Rovers, in Rugby through Leinster and the IRFU, in GAA through it’s Skoda sponsorship of Tipperary and in Golf through support for the Professional Golfers Association.
