South Africa RugbyIreland will take on South Africa, Australia and Georgia at the Aviva Stadium during the Guinness Series of internationals in November this year. The timing of the announcement of the dates could not be better following on from the success in the RBS 6 Nations in Paris last Saturday.

South Africa have won on both their last two visits to Ireland and get the series under way with a bang at 5.30pm on Saturday November 8.

Eight days later Georgia come to play at the Aviva Stadium for the first time with a 2.30pm kick off.

The final game of the series sees the return of Australia on Saturday, November 22nd with a 4.30 kick off.

Details of ticket prices and packages will be made available later with a public sales window opening on June 3rd and priority booking for members of the Irish Rugby Supporters Club in advance of that.  It is likely the Georgia game will be wrapped into packages and there should also be incentives for schools and youth teams with an earlier kick off on the Sunday being better placed for fans travelling from around the country.

“The 2013 Guinness Series was a phenomenal success with record tickets sales for the three games and a fantastic atmosphere generated by the fans, which continued throughout the RBS 6 Nations,” said Padraig Power, IRFU Commercial and Marketing Director

“We will again be looking at a variety of ticket option packages for families so that as many people as possible can come and support the team.”

“We are already looking forward to the visit of Australia, Georgia and South Africa for the 2014 Guinness Series this November,” added Rory Sheridan, Diageo’s Head of Sponsorship – Western Europe.

“The 2013 series delivered fantastic rugby, great excitement, noise and colour to the Aviva Stadium on which the Ireland team continued to build and build and the 2014 Series looks set to deliver the same again.

“Irish rugby continues to deliver great days out and we are proud to be part of the Irish rugby family.”

The matches will be broadcast live by RTÉ and Sky Sports, and will also be the first time the team will take to the field wearing their new Canterbury kits.
