Sport for Business will be one of 40 companies and 2,000 attendees at the launch of the Dublin Web Summit 2012 in the city this evening.  The Summit has carved out a place as one of the highest profile and best networked tech events on a global stage.
The importance of sport within the digital environment, particularly in Ireland is highlighted by the fact that almost 70% of Ireland’s 2.5 million internet users visited a sports website at least once during the month of February.  Only the USA and Turkey can boast a higher penetration figure.
We will carry a report on the launch in this week’s Sport for Business Weekly published on Thursday as well as news from the establishment of a broad artistic and sporting cultural committee within the British Irish Chamber of Commerce which we attended on Monday.
