
It will carry a variety of content produced by multimedia sports news agency Ballywire, together with live streamed or recorded events where video material has been produced or made available and extreme sport features provided by Red Bull TV.
“Aertv Sports will show sports and events from around the country with a particular emphasis on Irish sporting communities”, said Aertv Director Philippe Brodeur. “We want to celebrate and share the passion of sporting communities in Ireland with the Irish diaspora who are looking to support home teams from around the globe.”
Aertv.ie currently streams 16 channels including the Irish terrestrial channels, Dail TV and a number of other cable channels. The standard package is available free upon registration and the service also includes integrated social media feeds to enable easy access to specific commentary on particular programmes.
AerTV Movies was launched alongside the Jameson Dublin Film Festival. Aertv Sports is available worldwide, broadcasting 24 hours a day.
Ballywire produces sports related digital video content for major sponsors including Etihad, Centra, Cadbury’s, AIB, An Post, Skoda, 3, Ford and Cadbury’s.
