TG4 are to broadcast live all four of the 2019 Lidl Ladies National Football League Finals this weekend.
All four provinces are involved in the race for glory with Antrim and Fermanagh meeting in the Division Four Final on Saturday, followed by Meath and Sligo in Division Three in Clones.
The second division decider will be at Parnell park in Dublin on Sunday between Kerry and Waterford. That will be followed by Galway and Cork meeting with a 4 PM throw in at the same Dublin venue.
Representatives from all eight counties participating were present in the capital for a photo-shoot at Poolbeg in Dublin yesterday.
Cork are chasing a 12th Division 1 title, having edged out All Ireland Champions Dublin in an epic semi-final over the Easter weekend. Galway are in the same position as Dublin were last year against Mayo, seeking their first Division One title.
They have made it to the final five times, most recently in 2015 but have yet to get over the line.
Kerry will be hoping to bounce back to the top flight at the first attempt following relegation in 2018, but they’ll face stiff opposition in the Division Two decider from a Waterford side that has made steady progress in recent years.
“We have witnessed some incredible football throughout the 2019 Lidl National Leagues and now the time has come to crown our champions across the four divisions,” said Ladies Gaelic Football Association president Marie Hickey.
“The introduction of our live-streaming has brought our game to an even bigger audience and those tuning in have been privileged to catch some superb individual moments and excellent team performances.”
