We took part in a wide-ranging interview last night on BBC Radio Ulster alongside Ulster Rugby CEO Jonny Petrie, Enda McGinley and presenter Nikki Gregg.

The Sportsound Extra Time programme was recorded virtually and covered topics from the return to play in the German Bundesliga through to the impact on communities of not having clubs providing physical activity and really good insight on the kinds of multiple challenges that Ulster Rugby will face when opening up the Kingspan Stadium initially behind closed doors.

There was input from across a number of other sporting organisations and discussion about the need for alignment on public health matters between Dublin and Stormont.

During the day it was announced that Golf Clubs in Northern Ireland would be allowed return to action from tomorrow.

You can listen back to the programme in full right here.

Join us this Thursday for a live Sport for Business session with the CEOs of five of the sports returning to action this week. We will be chatting with the bosses of Athletics, Golf, tennis, Rowing and Equestrian Sport to hear first hand how the return has gone, the work that went into ensuring compliance and some of the lessons learned over the first three days.

The virtual room is filling quickly and we would encourage you to reserve your spot today if you would like to join us.

Reserve your place today.
