Congratulations to Ryan Byrne of Inpho.ie who took first place at this year’s AIB Press Photographer of the Year Awards at the weekend.
Inpho have been members of Sport for Business from the outset and are responsible for many of the great images that bring our site and the Daily News Digest to life.
The winning shot in the Sports Action category shows the hurlers of Oulart the Ballagh and Kilmacud Crokes reaching for a high ball during their Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship quarter final in November.
This is the second year in a row that hurling has featured in the winning shot in the category after Ray McManus of Sportsfile took the award in 2011.
