THE Lidl Teams of the 2021 Ladies National Football Leagues have been revealed, with Champions Dublin outnumbered six to five by runners up Cork on the Division one team.

Cork trio Shauna Kelly, Melissa Duggan and Orla Finn are included again having been selected in 2019, along with Dublin’s Martha Byrne and Donegal’s Karen Guthrie.

Erika O’Shea, Ciara O’Sullivan and Sadhbh O’Leary are the other Cork players who earn spots on the team this time, while Byrne is joined by club and county teammate Jennifer Dunne as well as Abby Shiels, Olwen Carey and Hannah Tyrrell.

Along with Guthrie, Donegal are represented by Evelyn McGinley, Katy Herron and Geraldine McLaughlin on the 2021 Lidl Team of Division One.

Champions Meath lead the way on the Division Two selection, with eight players included.

Runners-up Kerry, who get the TG4 Championship underway in the first game of the 2021 season this Friday night against Galway, are represented by four players while there are two players from semi-finalists Monaghan and a place in the team for Cavan’s long-serving Sinéad Greene.

On the Division Three team, Champions Laois have seven players named, with runners-up Kildare following closely behind with six players and one player each from Sligo and Wicklow.

The Division Four lineup is made up of eight players from champions Louth, four from Finalists Leitrim, two from Offaly and one from Limerick.

Every minute of every game from this year’s Lidl National League was shown live on terrestrial TV or streamed after further investment and commitment by sponsors Lidl.

The Division One and Two finals were played in front of a 4,000 crowd at Croke Park as one of the pilot test events in the return to fans.
