Cricket Ireland has announced Italian-based sportswear giant Macron as its new Technical Kit Supplier for the next four years. They will replace long-standing partner O’Neills who decided on a mutual parting of ways at the end of ten years together at the end of 2022.
Established in Bologna in 1971, Macron produces sportswear for a range of sports, including football, rugby union, volleyball, basketball, baseball, handball, netball, American Football and cricket. While Macron already supplies the Italian Cricket Federation, this will be its first move into top-level international cricket.
The brand had a previous partnership in Ireland with Basketball Ireland.
Starting this season and running through to 2026, the Macron Hero above will appear on the jerseys and technical apparel of Cricket Ireland’s international and domestic teams.
