Event management specialists, EventHaus, and investment advisory firm, Gillen Markets, have stepped in as official support sponsors of the Senior Irish Men’s Squash Team for the 2023 WSF World Team Championships.
The team will start their games in New Zealand from December 11 Monday 11th December.
Ireland’s leading travel agents, Cassidy Travel, were previously named the Official Travel Partner to the team, while UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic were also named as sponsors.
The team consists of Sam Buckley, Sean Conroy, Oisin Logan, and Michael Creaven.
They have been drawn to play in Group A alongside number one seeds and reigning champions Egypt and Malaysia who they will face in the opening match on Monday.
Action from five of the six courts, including the spectacular glass court at the Mercury Arena, will be streamed for free on worldsquash.tv, the official streaming platform of the World Squash Federation, and on Irish Squash social media channels.
Fans can also watch action from the Mercury Arena for free on the Olympic Channel, and on SQUASHTV (subscription required).
The Irish Men’s Team recently secured promotion to the top division in Europe when they claimed a silver medal at the 2023 European Team Championship in April and go on to the World Championships seeded 18th of the 24 teams competing.
