It is another big weekend for Rugby in Ireland with the Energia AIL Finals on at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday and Ireland bidding for a win in Belfast in the final round of the Guinness six nations that would propel them to the Rugby World Cup in England next year.
With the Men’s Six nations done and dusted and Leinster’s date at Croke Park coming up next weekend, these are the days that show the depth which rugby is achieving.
The Ireland Women are looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat against england but the prize of a third place finish and the world Cup is still there and the mood music coming from the camp has been positive.
Kingspan Stadium staged a Rugby World Cup Final when ireland hosted the tournament back in 2017 and that same tournament will be on the minds of what will hopefully be another record crowd for Ireland against Scotland on Saturday afternoon.
Promotion at tonight’s Ulster rugby URC match will help and there will be a strong contingent of fans heading to Belfast.

Then the Final weekend of the Energia All-Ireland League season will witness history at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday with the first ever Men’s and Women’s finals double header.
UL Bohemians take on Railway Union in the Women’s Final starting at 1:45 PM with Terenure College and Cork Constitution contesting the Men’s final at 4 PM.
Both games are being televised live on TG4 on Sunday afternoon.
