Irish Sailing has announced a new partnership with Irish brand Dubarry, which will see the Ballinasloe-based company become the official shore kit supplier for Irish Sailing and its Performance Team from May 2025.
Dubarry’s commitment to performance and tradition makes them natural partner for Irish Sailing’s growing ambitions on the world stage.
The new agreement will see Dubarry supply a full range of team shore-wear for Irish Sailing’s athletes, coaches, and staff.
The gear will be designed from Dubarry’s Aquatech Collection, which features performance apparel built for all-weather conditions, offering waterproof and breathable protection as well as UPF 50 sun safety.
The garments are quick-drying, machine washable, and durable, reflecting the demands of high-performance sport.
Irish Sailing CEO Tim Bourke welcomed the news, describing the deal as a timely boost. “We are thrilled to welcome Dubarry on board as our official kit supplier from 2025, a partner that very much aligns with our own values of excellence, integrity and passion,” he said.
“This sponsorship deal comes at an exciting time for our sport, and we look forward to working with Dubarry as we build on the success of recent years.”
Irish athletes have enjoyed a strong run of form internationally, including Eve McMahon’s recent bronze medal at the ILCA World Championships in China.
The new Dubarry kit was already in use during the event, further highlighting the partnership’s focus on both performance and visibility.
Dubarry’s Marketing Director, Michael Walsh, added that the brand is proud to play a part in supporting Ireland’s top sailing talent.
“We’re extremely proud to be entering into partnership with Irish Sailing at a time when Irish athletes are achieving remarkable success at international level,” he said.
“Our partnership reflects our shared commitment to quality, resilience and performance.”
