Olytico’s analysis for June 2025 encompasses over 14,000 posts, 5.9 million engagements, and 24.8 million views of Sport for Business organisation’s content on TikTok.
As we reach the halfway mark of 2025, Olytico’s analysis for this year to date has covered 79,247 posts (+6% on the same time period in 2024), 33.85 million public engagements (-6.5%) and 140.3 million views on Sport for Business member content on TikTok (+56%) highlighting the increased prominence and importance of the platform for sport.
Throughout this week’s coverage, we have ranked each organisation across a range of metrics on each network, including the most active, the most engaged with, and the most engaging content, as well as engagements per 1,000 followers where possible.
It is important to note that this analysis is based on publicly available data. It does not include any analysis or insight on paid or promoted content. When % figures are used (unless otherwise stated), they refer to the previous month’s figures.

June 2025 Highlights on X
Whilst activity on X fell by 7% in June Vs the figure from May, the 5,847 posts published on the platform generated 238,177 engagements (+12%).
The League of Ireland (660, -23%) topped the X activity charts as Galway’s Dave Hurley scored from inside his own half .

In second, the Ladies Football account (656, +43%) announced the draw for the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship Quarter Finals and in third, the GAA (612, +2%) showcased the emotion from Tyrone as they reached an All-Ireland Semi-Final.

Cycling Ireland (152, +334%) saw Rory Townsend take another Road National Championship, Ireland Women’s Cricket (101, +91%) saw Orla Prendergast score a quick-fire half century off just thirty balls in the Super Series, and Horse Racing Ireland (218, +72%) remembered Kevin Prendergast, one of the all-time greats of the Irish training ranks with over 2,000 winners, and four Royal Ascot winners.

The Ireland Football account (212, -42%) topped the X average engagements per post metric, and they were followed by Irish Rugby (197, +31%) and Munster Rugby (154, +83%).
Athletics Ireland (323) topped the average engagements per 1,000 followers metric as Sophie O’Sullivan followed in her mother’s footsteps by claiming gold in the 1,500m at the NCAA Championships.
