Each weekend, we select performances from Irish sports that deserve recognition. This weekend, we highlight action in Camogie, Athletics, Rowing, Basketball and Cricket.
This week’s Champions of the Weekend is brought to us by Dublin City Council, one of Sport for Business’s key partners.

Three great finals in Croke Park for the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Finals with Galway snatching victory deep into added time over Cork in the main event, Offaly making it back to Senior Level, beating Kerry in the Intermediate final, and Laois winning the Junior Final against Armagh, scoring their first goal in 35 seconds.

The Junior Men’s Double of Jack Rafferty and Jonah Kirby made history by winning gold and securing Rowing Ireland’s first-ever medal in a men’s event at the U19 World Championships. All five Rowing Ireland crews delivered strong performances, with every boat placing inside the top ten.
