Amundi has confirmed its fifth consecutive year as a Premium Partner of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, underlining its continued investment in the growth of women’s golf in Ireland and internationally.
The award-winning Ladies European Tour event, which has been named Tournament of the Year for the past two seasons, will enter a new phase in 2026 with a move to The K Club. The championship will take place from August 27–30 at the renowned venue, widely regarded as one of Ireland’s premier golf destinations.
The tournament is expected to once again attract a strong international field, including leading players such as Charley Hull and Ireland’s Leona Maguire, alongside Amundi Team representative Lauren Walsh competing on home soil.
Cian Branagan, CEO of Forefront Sports and Tournament Director, highlighted the importance of sustained commercial backing in driving the event’s rise. “We are delighted to celebrate Amundi’s fifth year as a partner of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open. Their commitment has been instrumental in the tournament’s success, reflected in its back-to-back Tournament of the Year recognition. We look forward to building on this momentum at The K Club this August,” he said.
David Harte, CEO of Amundi Ireland, reaffirmed the company’s long-term strategy in the sport. “Amundi is a long-term partner of women’s golf and we are delighted to continue as a premium partner of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open. We look forward to an exciting tournament in August,” he said.
Amundi’s involvement in golf dates back to 2011 and reached a major milestone in 2021 when it became title partner of the Amundi Evian Championship, one of the five majors in women’s golf held in Évian-les-Bains, France.
That commitment extends through the Amundi Team, which supports professional players across the LET and LPGA Tour, enhancing visibility and opportunity for emerging talent. Its continued presence at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open reflects a broader alignment between commercial partners and the accelerating growth of the women’s game, both in Ireland and on the global stage.
