The Pittsburgh Steelers have extended their audio broadcast partnership with Off The Ball for the 2026 NFL season, maintaining another important strand of the franchise’s commercial and fan engagement presence in Ireland.

The agreement means that official Steelers Audio Network broadcasts of every regular-season game will continue to be available live to listeners across the island of Ireland through Off The Ball.

The partnership has been in place since 2023 and provides Irish supporters with direct access to the Steelers’ own game commentary throughout the season. Broadcasts will be available through the GoLoud App and OffTheBall.com, subject to NFL geographic restrictions.

It sits alongside a series of initiatives through which the Steelers are building a more permanent presence rather than relying solely on the impact of last year’s Croke Park game.

Kennedy’s Pub in Dublin was named the Official Pub of the Pittsburgh Steelers in Ireland earlier this year through a partnership with Mahon Hospitality Group, creating a physical home for Steelers supporters and hosting events including a Draft Party and regular game viewing.

The venue will also host the latest Fáilte Steelers Watch Party on Sunday, October 18th, when Pittsburgh face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with Aer Lingus, Heinz, Ticketmaster and UPMC presenting the event.

Against that wider backdrop, the continuation of the Off The Ball agreement provides another weekly connection which can help convert the heightened awareness generated by Croke Park into longer-term fandom.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers and continue bringing their official game broadcasts exclusively to our listeners across Ireland,” said Michael McCarthy, Managing Editor of Off The Ball Ireland.

“The Steelers have built a passionate following here, and live audio coverage gives fans a direct connection to the action each week. We look forward to sharing another exciting season with Steelers Nation Ireland.”

Sport for Business Perspective

Croke Park provided an extraordinary focal point in 2025, but long-term international growth is built through repeated contact: weekly broadcasts, podcasts and digital content, social channels, watch parties, commercial partners and places where supporters can gather.

Extending the Off The Ball relationship ensures that the Steelers remain part of the Irish sporting conversation every week of the NFL season.

That continuity, alongside the development of Kennedy’s as an Irish home for Steelers Nation and the franchise’s broader programme of activity, turns the impact of one historic Sunday at Croke Park a year ago into a sustainable fan and commercial relationship.
