AIG Insurance are teaming up with the Ladies Gaelic Football Association and TG4 to bring you a new behind-the-scenes documentary featuring one team from each grade of the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Football Championships.
The ‘Making It Happen’ series will follow Cork (Senior), Westmeath (Intermediate), and Carlow (Junior) on their journey throughout the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Football Championships, showcasing all the ups, downs, and effort that goes into being at the top of your game
The first of its kind in Irish sport, ’Making It Happen’ will be released throughout the season, allowing fans to see the preparation for each game as it plays out. The series will be released on the AIG Ireland YouTube channel with teasers on social media.
The Blues Sisters documentary tracking Dublin’s 2017 season is one of the most iconic sporting documentaries of recent times. It played a role in the surging growth of Ladies football, alongside the partnership with Lidl and the coverage on TG4. The documentary is available to view on GAAGo.
Produced by Future Proof Media, ‘Making It Happen’ offers fly-on-the-wall content from training to match day. Fans can look forward to never-before-seen access to each team’s preparations.
“We are delighted to work with the LGFA, TG4, the three team managements, and Future Proof Media to bring this unique series to Ladies’ Football fans,” said John Gillick, Head of Sponsorship and Direct Marketing at AIG Ireland.
“It showcases the sacrifice and drive that goes into Making it Happen in a season. I wish them all the best in their respective championships.”
“So much time, effort and commitment goes into the preparation of our leading inter-county teams and this innovative series will shine a light on that,” added LGFA President Micheál Naughton.
“I look forward to watching the series unfold and following the fortunes of these three counties throughout the TG4 All-Ireland Championship season.”
