Anyscor, the Irish startup providing a solution to how how amateur sports clubs share live scores and updates, has secured a significant investment in funding to accelerate its growth.
The investment comes from Enterprise Ireland, and follows on from the company, a Sport for Business member, being accepted into the High Potential Start Up Unit earlier this year.
Founded by Colin Deering, Anyscor has been steadily building its presence in the amateur sports community. The app has been praised for its ability to keep fans of amateur sports up to date on match scores, enhancing the excitement of local leagues. It was supported by Energia around the Energia All Ireland Leagues this past season.
Deering, who participated in Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers programme at TU Dublin, expressed optimism about the company’s trajectory.
“This endorsement is more than just funding — it’s a powerful validation of our mission to digitise and empower amateur sport at scale,” he said.
“With this support, we’re accelerating the development of our AI-driven platform, growing our team and expanding across new sports and territories.”
That team expansion includes the appointment of Ireland Rugby international Ross Byrne as a Strategic Advisor on Rugby Partnerships and Engagement.
“He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the startup and sportstech landscapes as well as the obvious rugby community connections,” added Deering.
“As Strategic Advisor Ross will lead our partnerships and investment drive within the rugby community as we expand our business across Ireland, the UK and beyond.”
“We are excited to see what we can achieve together in bringing fan engagement across amateur sports to another level.”
