Pinergy, the Official Energy Partner of Munster Rugby, has teamed up with Pinergy ambassador and Munster Rugby star Jack Crowley to launch their new ‘Going Solar’ guide.
The announcement coincides with Pinergy’s continued commitment to Munster Rugby’s sustainability ambitions as part of the United Nations Sports for Climate Action programme.
This decade-long partnership has powered Munster Rugby’s facilities with green electricity and energy measurement tools and also delivered a significant Solar Energy project in Cork’s Virgin Media Park.
The new ‘Going Solar Guide’ is a comprehensive resource designed to tackle myths about solar energy, revealing its potential to deliver significant financial and environmental benefits to Irish homes.
With easy-to-follow steps on how to get solar installed on your home, real customer stories and a glossary of terms to remove industry jargon, this new guide is designed to help homeowners feel empowered and energised to begin their energy transition journey starting with solar.
Jack Crowley was an inspired choice to put before the media as you will be able to read across all sports pages tomorrow.
“For many, solar energy may seem like a distant dream – costly, complex, and ineffective under our sometimes cloudy skies. But that’s simply not true,” says David Slattery, Head of Marketing at Pinergy.
“Our ‘Going Solar Guide’ is designed to challenge those myths and show how solar can be a great solution for many homes across Ireland.”
Pinergy is offering an exclusive €500 discount on Residential Solar PV systems until April 30th as part of the campaign.
Through his role as Pinergy brand ambassador, Jack Crowley champions the “Own the Moment” platform. He encourages fans to take control of their energy habits both on and off the pitch now and make real changes as he prepares for knockout Champions Cup rugby at the end of another busy season.
Pinergy also proudly supports grassroots rugby development by sponsoring the Pinergy Boys and Girls Schools Cup, fostering the next generation of rugby talent.
We can’t let the story go as well without a hat tip to Dan Sheridan of Inpho Photography for the dramatically created image accompanying this story.
