The 2026 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Championships were officially launched at Croke Park on Monday, setting the stage for another summer of inter-county competition across the Senior, Intermediate, Premier Junior and Junior grades.

This year’s championships will culminate in All-Ireland Finals Day at Croke Park on Sunday, August 9th, with teams from across the country set to contest a packed programme of fixtures over the coming months.

Uachtarán an Chumainn Camógaíochta Brian Molloy said the championships continue to go from strength to strength and called on supporters to back their counties throughout the summer.

“The launch of the 2026 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Championships marks the beginning of another hugely exciting summer for camogie,” he said.

“Year on year, we continue to see rising standards, thrilling contests and extraordinary commitment from our players, and I have no doubt supporters across the country will once again witness a fantastic championship campaign.”

Molloy also thanked title sponsor Glen Dimplex for its continued backing of the competition, highlighting the role the partnership has played in increasing the championships’ visibility and profile.

“I would encourage supporters from every county to get out and support their teams throughout the summer,” he said. “Our players give an incredible commitment to representing their counties, and they deserve strong support in the stands.”

He also urged supporters to target Finals Day in August regardless of which counties progress to the deciders.

“I am also calling on every camogie supporter to circle Sunday, August 9th in their diary and commit to being in Croke Park for the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Finals,” said Molloy.

“Regardless of which counties qualify, this is our showcase day. A celebration of our sport, our players and our community. Together, we have an opportunity to make a powerful statement about camogie and continue driving our game forward.”

The 2026 championships will feature an updated structure following changes confirmed last December.

The Senior Championship remains split into two groups, one containing four teams and the other six, while the Intermediate Championship will again feature two groups of four teams.

Under the revised Senior format, the four counties that reached the 2025 semi-finals have been seeded into Group One. The top two teams in that section will progress directly to the All-Ireland semi-finals, while the third and fourth-placed sides will advance to the quarter-finals against the top two teams emerging from Group Two.

The Senior Championship gets underway on Saturday, May 16th, when Offaly host Wexford as part of a double-header alongside the Leinster GAA Senior Hurling Championship clash between the same counties.

Group One of the Senior Championship will feature Galway, Cork, Waterford and Tipperary, with the opening round of fixtures taking place on the weekend of June 6th and 7th.

Group Two includes Kilkenny, Clare, Dublin, Limerick, Offaly and Wexford, with games beginning in mid-May before quarter-finals are staged as double-headers with the GAA Senior Hurling semi-finals at Croke Park on the weekend of July 4th and 5th.

The Senior semi-finals are scheduled for FBD Semple Stadium on July 25th, before the All-Ireland Finals in August.

The Intermediate Championship will see counties including Kerry, Down, Derry, Antrim, Laois, Carlow, Meath, and Westmeath competing for honours, with quarter-finals and relegation play-offs fixed for the first weekend in July.

In the Premier Junior Championship, Roscommon, Tyrone, Armagh, Kildare, Wicklow and Cavan are among the counties involved, with the competition beginning on May 30th and semi-finals scheduled for July 18th.

The Junior Championship will feature Mayo, Louth, Monaghan and Donegal, with the All-Ireland Final fixed for Sunday, July 11th.
