February 2025 Highlights on TikTok

 

 

434 TikToks (+8%) were posted by Sport for Business members in March 2025, which resulted in 1.4 million engagements (-31%) and 22.82 million views (-47%).

The analysis saw a record seven organisations over the million monthly view mark, led by Ireland Football (6.34 million), the URC (4.69 million), HRI (2.89 million), Ulster Rugby (1.95 million), the League of Ireland (1.56 million), Leinster Rugby (1.53 million), and Irish Rugby (1.08 million).

The most viewed TikTok (1.8 million) came from Ireland Football as they promoted the WNT home fixture against Greece.

The URC topped the activity charts with 66 posts, global superstar Siya Kolise featured in their top two most viewed pieces of content in March, firstly with this try against the Lions (660,000 views), and secondly when he met legend Nkosi (627,000 views link).

In second place the League of Ireland (50) saw Ireland star Ruesha Littlejohn return with a bang.

 and in third, HRI (43) celebrated the ‘Queen of Cheltenham’ Rachael Blackmore.

When ranked by average engagement per post, Ulster Rugby (32,311) continue their run of form as they topped the charts for the third month in a row, and they were followed by Ireland Football (10,349) and Irish Rugby (5,635).

The most engaged with TikTok in March came from Belfast, a simple format that has worked well for them before saw them asking their players to pronounce ‘Our, Hour, Par, and Power – and generated over 107,000 public engagements in the process.
