October 2024 Highlights on TikTok
318 TikToks (+34%) were posted by Sport for Business members in October, which resulted in 778,030 engagements (+47%) and 10.9 million views (+38%).
The United Rugby Championship (5.24 million), Ireland Football (2.82 million), and Leinster Rugby (469,249) topped the view counts.
The URC topped the activity charts with 87 posts, their most viewed content was this sublime one handed lineout take from Leinster’s RG Snyman.

In second, Leinster Rugby (34) featured Andrew Osbourne’s resilience after a huge hit from Bundee Aki, and in third Horse Racing Ireland (33) took us behind the scenes at the fun filled Juniors Education Day at Tipperary Racecourse.

When ranked by average engagement per post, Ireland Football (13,651) topped the charts as the MU16 team won the 2024 Victory Shield with this goal from TJ Molloy. They were followed by the URC (3,911) and Ulster Rugby (3,205).

Ireland Football claimed the top TikTok for October with a piece of content that continues to perform well every year – this year is the 9th anniversary of Shane Long writing his name into the Irish football history books with this strike against Germany at the Aviva – the post has been viewed over 2.2 million times to date.
